In-Home Attendant Care (HPC)
Abide Care Services provides compassionate homemaker/personal care and attendant services under Ohio’s Individual Options (IO), Level One and Self waivers. Our DSPs assist with activities of daily living; dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication reminders and transportation, so individuals can live independently and safely in their own homes. We focus on person-centered care plans and empower individuals to make choices and participate in community life.
Shared
Living
A home-based support option where an adult caregiver lives in the same home as the person they support. Care is built into everyday routines and shaped around each person’s needs, and natural rhythm of life.
Homemaker Personal Care HPC
Everyday support that helps people live safely and more independently at home and in the community. HPC can include personal care, meal preparation, medication support, emergency readiness, community access, and self-advocacy skills.
Participant
Directed HPC
HPC support for people who want to take a leading role in their own care. Each person chooses to be the employer of their support staff, including selecting, training, and supervising the people who work with them.
Supported
Living
Support for people with developmental disabilities who want to live in a home of their choice. Services can be available up to 24 hours a day and help each person build skills, protect their rights, and stay connected to community life.
HPC Transportation
Everyday support that helps people live safely and more independently at home and in the community. HPC can include personal care, meal preparation, medication support, emergency readiness, community access, and self-advocacy skills.
Community
Transition
Support with the one-time costs of setting up a new home after leaving a qualifying care facility. This may include security deposits, essential furniture, household items, utility setup fees, and moving expenses.
